Creating photographs for
you and your family.
Our purpose.
I love capturing memories because photos have a way of holding pieces of our lives that we don’t always realize we’ll want to return to. When you look at an old picture, the people in it aren’t the same anymore—you aren’t the same anymore. Whether you love or cringe at how you looked, my biggest encouragement is simple: get in the photo. Be in the moment. Years from now, you’ll look back and think things like, “Why was I so hard on myself?” or “My hair was amazing back then,” or even laugh at an outfit choice. I hope you look back with grace for who you were then, and a little more kindness for who you are now.
Then there are other photos I hold onto—ones of people who aren’t here anymore, in homes we no longer live in. We’ve all lost someone, and sometimes photographs are the only tangible pieces we have left. We keep them close because we’re afraid of forgetting their faces, their laugh, the way their presence filled a room. When we miss a moment, we reach for a picture to help us remember. We hope it brings back the smell of our grandmother’s cooking or the way the light came through the window of the house we grew up in. But what we’re really searching for is the feeling—the love that lived in those moments.
That’s why I do what I do. I create photographs for you and your loved ones to hold onto—now, and years from now, when they matter even more.
